This project was an attempt to reinvent how young people between the ages of 18-30 view the classic books in literature. Classic novels have become very institutionalized do to their associations and covers designed for educational use. For these book cover redesigns I wanted to give a contemporary romance aesthetic to appeal to both the tragedy and romance themes present within Thomas Hardy's books. I created these book covers through Adobe Photoshop and Indesign by mixing images from Envato Elements.
